What is ANGIPLAT?
ANGIPLAT contains Glyceryl Trinitrate which belongs to a group of medicines known as nitrates
It relaxes blood vessels, increasing the blood and oxygen supply to the heart
What ANGIPLAT is used for?
It is used,
to prevent chest pain caused by angina. It will not help to stop an episode of chest pain

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
are allergic (hypersensitive) to glyceryl trinitrate
have previous history of heart attack or heart failure
have low blood pressure (hypotension)
suffer from severe liver problems
are an alcoholic
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
f you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in Children
Driving & Using Machines
You may get drowsy or dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medicine affects you
Always take ANGIPLAT exactly as your doctor has told you
Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water
Follow the directions on the prescription label
Swallow whole. Do not crush or chew
Take your doses at regular intervals
If you take more ANGIPLAT
If you take too many ANGIPLAT, contact your doctor or go to your nearest hospital casualty department immediately
If you forget to take ANGIPLAT
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses at the same time (morning or evening)
If you stop taking ANGIPLAT
Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly or your symptoms may get worse
If your doctor wants you to stop the medicine, the dose will be slowly lowered over time to avoid any side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
blurred vision
dry mouth
skin rash
sweating
the feeling of extreme pressure in the head
unusually weak or tired
flushing of the face or neck
headache
irregular heartbeat, palpitations
Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Especially
certain migraine medicines like ergotamine and dihydroergotamine
medicines used to treat erectile dysfunction like sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil
medicines for high blood pressure
other medicines used to treat angina
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25ÂșC)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
