What BETADINE is used for? BETADINE is used as antiseptic for the treatment and prevention of infection in minor skin trauma including burns, cuts and other minor injuries

Talk to your doctor before using BETADINE, if you: Are allergic to povidone iodine or any of the other ingredients Have thyroid problem Have kidney problem

Always apply this medicine as exactly as your doctor told you The affected area should be cleaned and dried Apply BETADINE over the affected area For topical use on the skin only

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Irritation, swelling or redness

Tell your doctor if you are taking: Lithium (for depression, mania and bipolar disorder)

Storage Keep this medicine out of reach of children Do not use this medicine after the expiry date Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
