What BEXTRIN TOTAL is used for? It is used to treat: Acute or chronic osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and spondyloarthritis, spondylosis and other ortho-degenerative disorders, pain management. Post-operative wounds, oedema and haematoma, prevention of inflammation of the stitching Pelvic inflammatory disease, caesarean section, episiotomy and hysterectomy Tooth extraction, peri apical abscess, maxillofacial surgery Ocular trauma such as macular edema, black eye, hyphema, uveal tract inflammation, subconjunctival hemorrhage Auricular septal hematoma, nasal fractures, parapharyngeal abscess Post-traumatic edema, soft tissue injury, fractures & dislocation, sports injury, sprains & strains, intervertebral disc herniation (sciatica or pid) Ocular trauma such as macular oedema, black eye, hyphema, uveal tract inflammation, subconjunctival haemorrhage, extra-ocular trauma

Talk to your doctor if you: Are allergic to other ingredients of this medicine Have severe liver or kidney disease Have peptic ulcer Have high vitreous pressure (pressure in the eye) Have a condition called inflammatory edema due to injury, surgery, infection or dental procedures Have blood clot Are an alcoholic

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you Swallow the medicine with a glass of water Do not crush or chew the medicine If you take more BEXTRIN TOTAL If you take more of this medicine, talk to your doctor or go to your nearest hospital immediately If you forget to take BEXTRIN TOTAL If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, however if it is nearly time for the next dose skip the missed dose Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose If you Stop taking BEXTRIN TOTAL Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Rare Itching, shortness of breath Swelling of the lips or throat Loss of consciousness

Tell your doctor if you are taking, Penicillin antibiotics Chloramphenicol Coumadin, heparin and clopidogrel

Storage Keep this medicine out of reach of the children Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
