What CIPLOX D EYE/EAR DROPS is used for?
For Ophthalmic use:
It is indicated for the treatment of post-operative inflammatory conditions of the eyes
For Otic use:
Acute Otitis Media (AOM) with tympanostomy tubes due to Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Acute Otitis Externa (AOE), due to Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Talk to your Doctor if you
Are allergic to any other ingredients of this medicine
Have herpes simplex and other viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva
Fungal disease, ocular tuberculosis, untreated purulent infections
Have a history of acute epithelial herpes simplex keratitis
Wear contact lenses
Viral infections of the external canal, including herpes simplex infections and fungal otic infections
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you to
Only for ophthalmic use
If you use more CIPLOX D EYE/EAR DROPS
If you take more than you should, tell your doctor or contact your nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to use CIPLOX D EYE/EAR DROPS
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible, unless it is almost time to take the next dose
Do not take a double dose
If you stop using CIPLOX D EYE/EAR DROPS
Do not stop taking this medicine before your doctor tells to do
White deposits on the eye surface (cornea), discomfort (stinging or burning, gritty feeling in the eye, irritation), redness
Dysgeusia (distortion of the sense of taste)
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
Other corticosteroids (used to provide relief for inflamed areas of the body)
Other eye/ear drops or eye ointment
Storage
Keep this medicine out of reach of the children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
