What CONTRACTUBEX is used for?
CONTRACTUBEX is used for treating
Abrasions, cuts or lacerations
Cosmetically disfiguring scars that occur after surgery
Burns
Scar after laser treatments (e.g. tattoo removal)
Traumatic tendon contracture as well as for cicatrical scars (rare disorder that destroy the hair follicle, replace it with scar tissue, and cause permanent hair loss)
Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine if you
Are allergic to Allantoin, Cepae extract and heparin or any of the other ingredients
Are getting any other treatment for existing scars and contractures
Have been exposed to UV lights, extreme cold temperatures
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
CONTRACTUBEX is applied few times a day on scar tissue by massage
In the case of old, hard scars, Contractube can be applied during night with occlusion
Apply CONTRACTUBEX only to wounds that are already closed

If you use more CONTRACTUBEX, Contact your doctor
If you forget to take CONTRACTUBEX
If you forget to use CONTRACTUBEX, use it on the following day as usual
If you stop taking CONTRACTUBEX

Rare
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Local irritations such as slight erythema and itching
Tell your doctor if you are using other medicines for treating scars or any other skin preparations
Storage
Keep out of reach of children
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
