What METHERCIP is used for?
It is used for:
The prevention and control of postpartum haemorrhage
Routine management of uterine atony, hemorrhage and subinvolution of the uterus
Control of uterine hemorrhage in the second stage of labor following delivery of the anterior shoulder
Talk to your Doctor if you:
Are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Have hypertension
Have toxemia
Have coronary artery disease
Have sepsis
Have obliterative vascular disease
Have impaired hepatic or renal function
This medicine will be given by a doctor or nurse
It is given intramuscularly or intravenously
If you take more METHERCIP
If you have given too much of this medicine, you may get the below mentioned symptoms
Symptoms of overdose: nausea, vomiting, oliguria, abdominal pain, numbness, tingling of the extremities, rise in blood pressure, hypotension, respiratory depression, hypothermia, convulsions
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Drugs used to treat heart conditions
Halothane, methoxyflurane (used as anesthetics)
Antianginal drugs (used to treat angina)
Vasoconstrictors (used to treat blood pressure)
Prostaglandins (used to treat injury, infection)
Storage
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25ÂșC
