What is NEXTRIL?
NEXTRIL contains Tofisopam which belongs to an anti-anxiety group of medications known as homophthalazines
What NEXTRIL is used for?
It is used as an adjuvant therapy
to control psychosomatic symptoms such as headache, fatigue, tachycardia, sweating
for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia
to improve intestinal passage in patients with irritable colon syndrome
for hyper motor dysfunction of the biliary ducts
for reduction of preoperative anxiety

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
are allergic to Tofisopam or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
Risk of malformation with first trimester exposure to NEXTRIL is minimal to low
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
Do not crush or chew the tablet
The average daily dose is 1 to 2 tablets one to three times daily (50 to 300 mg per day). In case of occasional administration 1 to 2 tablets should be used
If you take more NEXTRIL
If you take more NEXTRIL or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention
If you forgot to take NEXTRIL
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you Stop taking NEXTRIL
Do not stop taking NEXTRIL without talking to your doctor
Rare
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
nausea
anorexia
stomach discomfort
individual increased irritability
Tell your doctor if you are taking:
barbiturates and ethanol
immunosuppressive agents
Storage
Protect from excess heat and light
Keep out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
