What is RANOLAZ OD?
RANOLAZ OD contains Ranolazine
What RANOLAZ OD is used for?
RANOLAZ OD is used to treat chronic angina (chest pain)
It may be used with other medicines that are used for heart problems and blood pressure control

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
have or have a family history of a heart problem, called ‘QT prolongation’ or ‘long QT syndrome’
have liver or kidney problems
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
It is not known if RANOLAZ OD will harm your unborn baby and passes into your breast milk
If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or breast feeding consult your doctor before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
It is not known if RANOLAZ OD is safe and effective in children
Driving & Using Machines
RANOLAZ OD can cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. If you have these symptoms do not drive a car, use machinery, or do anything that needs you to be alert
Take RANOLAZ OD exactly as your doctor tells you
Take this medicine by mouth, with or without food
Swallow the medicine whole
Do not crush, break, or chew RANOLAZ OD before swallowing
If you take more RANOLAZ OD
If you take too much RANOLAZ OD, call your doctor, or go to the nearest emergency room right away
If you forget to take RANOLAZ OD
If you miss a dose of RANOLAZ OD, wait to take the next dose of RANOLAZ OD at your regular time. Do not make up for the missed dose
If you stop taking RANOLAZ OD
Do not stop taking RANOLAZ OD without first consulting your doctor

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
feel faint, lightheaded, or feel your heart beating irregularly or fast
kidney failure in people who already have severe kidney problems

Tell your healthcare provider, if you take the medicines
ketoconazole, itraconazole for fungus infection
clarithromycin for infection
nefazodone for depression
nelfinavir, ritonavir, lopinavir and ritonavir, indinavir, saquinavir for HIV
rifampin, rifabutin, rifapentine for tuberculosis (TB)
phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine for seizures
St.John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum)
medicines for scarring (cirrhosis) of your liver, cholesterol, diabetes, transplant and mental problems

Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
Keep out of reach of children
Do not take this medicine after the expiry date
