What SECALIA is used for?
SECALIA is used as a moisturizer to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations (e.g., diaper rash, skin burns from radiation therapy)
It is used to treat ichthyosis, fissures, eczema, xerosis
Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:
Allergic to Glycerin or to any of the ingredients in the medicine
Have any skin cuts, infections or sores
Have skin blisters or redness
Have skin more prone to acne breakouts
Use this product as directed by physician
How often you apply the medication will depend on the product and your skin condition
To treat dry hands, you may need to use the product every time you wash your hands, applying it throughout the day
If you are using this product to help treat diaper rash, clean the diaper area well before use and allow the area to dry before applying the product
Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it
Most moisturizers need water to work well. Apply the product after bathing/showering while the skin is still damp
If you use more SECALIA
If you use more SECALIA contact your doctor at once or go to the nearest hospital
If you forget to use SECALIA
If you are using this product on a regular schedule and miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember
Do not use more product or use it more often than directed
If you stop using SECALIA
Do not stop using SECALIA unless your doctor tells you to
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Serious allergic reaction, including rash, itching, swelling (especially of the face, tongue, throat), severe dizziness, difficulty in breathing
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription, herbal products you may use, including other skin care products
Storage
Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
Keep it out of reach of children
