Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor told you Take this medicine by mouth Treatment of chickenpox and shingles The usual dose is one 800 mg tablet taken five times a day You should space each dose by 4 hours Suggested times are: 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm Treatment of cold sores and genital herpes The usual dose is one 200 mg tablet taken five times a day You should space each dose by 4 hours Suggested times are: 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm and 11pm You should take ACIVIR DT 800MG for five days, or longer if your doctor tells you to take If you take more ACIVIR DT 800MG Talk to your doctor if you take more ACIVIR DT 800MG If you forget to take ACIVIR DT 800MG If you forget to take ACIVIR DT 800MG, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose If you stop taking ACIVIR DT 800MG Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Allergic reactions such as, Rash, itching or hives on the skin Swelling of your face, lips, tongue or other parts of the body Shortness of breath, wheezing or trouble in breathing Collapse

Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken any of the following medicine such as: Probenecid, used to treat gout Cimetidine, used to treat stomach ulcers Mycophenolate mofetil, used to stop your body from rejecting transplanted organs

Storage Keep this medicine out of reach of children Store at room temperature (15-25°C) Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
