Before taking this medicine consult your doctor, he may alter the dose according to your health condition Swallow this medicine with a full glass of water Do not crush or break the tablet If you take more METITAL If you take more METITAL, contact your nearest hospital or your doctor immediately If you forget to take METITAL Take them as soon as you remember and then continue with the next dose as instructed. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose If you stop taking METITAL Talk to your doctor before stopping this medicine

Tell your doctor if you are taking, Antidepressants Cholestyramine Oral contraceptives Fluorouracil, a drug used to treat certain tumour Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium Preparations containing zinc such as vitamins or food supplements Sulfasalazine, used to treat the inflammatory bowel conditions ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease Histamine H2-antagonists Digoxin, digitalis used for heart problem Barbiturates used for sleep disturbance Glucocorticoids often used to treat allergies or asthma (e.g. hydrocortisone, prednisolone) Medicines which increase urine production (diuretics) Ibuprofen and celecoxib, used to treat pain and inflammation Certain medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure (ACE inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists) Salbutamol or terbutaline (used to treat asthma) Corticosteroids (used to treat a variety of conditions, such as severe inflammation of the skin or in asthma) Other medicines used to treat diabetes
